Backyard Light is painted from the view outside my kitchen window, a landscape that has carried me through both the hardest and most beautiful seasons of my life. I return to this scene often, always drawn to the way light shifts across the hill and clouds drift like emotions over the sky.

In this version, the shadows settle deeper, reflective and still, like a pause between two moments. Though the view is familiar, the light and mood are never the same.
